KN Comm Group Urges Businesses To Uphold Standards At 9th Ghana Business Standards Awards
Accra - The Chief Executive of KN Communication Group has urged Ghanaian businesses to prioritize business standards over profits to enable them access international markets.
Speaking at the 9th Ghana Business Standards Awards in Accra, he said businesses that embrace excellence build stronger institutions, while those that invest in innovation and uphold integrity inspire trust and create new opportunities.
He noted that KN Communication Group is one of the largest corporate communications and events houses in Africa, and for nine years has organized the Ghana Business Standards Awards to celebrate the importance of business standards in the country.
"Your recognition tonight represents our appreciation of your contribution towards quality and standards," he told award recipients.
He also commended businesses that continue to operate under challenging conditions while creating jobs, developing products and services, paying taxes, supporting communities and contributing to national development.
According to him, KN Communication Group has over the years engaged close to 5,000 corporate institutions, not only in Ghana but across Africa. He disclosed that the Group currently has a subsidiary in Rwanda and will expand to Kenya next.
He expressed appreciation to partners, the Special Guest of Honour, the judging board, media and event partners, and the entire team whose commitment made the event possible.
He also congratulated one of the award recipients that is celebrating its anniversary and operates across other African countries.
He announced that this year, through its African Business Festival brand, KN Communication Group will bring close to 2,000 professionals and the Top 100 companies across Africa to Ghana on October 17.
He said the 9th edition marks a major milestone, with next year being a decade of celebrating Ghanaian businesses and industries.
He stressed that standards compliance is critical for export, recalling his visit last month to the African Business and Trade Council, where he became the only Ghanaian board member.
"Many products have been seized and many have failed to enter other markets because they did not meet standards. It is important to achieve growth and look at profits, but it is extremely critical to look at business standards," he cautioned.
He urged businesses to continue to uphold standards as the country pushes to increase exportation of Ghanaian products to other African countries under the African Continental Free Trade Area.
