Police Record Seven Major Breakthroughs in Nationwide Operations - IGP Yohunu Accra, September 7, 2026 The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohunu, has announced seven major breakthroughs recorded by the Ghana Police Service following weeks of coordinated intelligence-led operations across the country. Addressing a press briefing at the Police Headquarters today, the IGP said the Service deployed special intelligence teams to the Northern, Greater Accra and Savannah Regions and worked with various Regional Commanders to undertake targeted operations.
